Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) together with our Privacy Policy govern your participation in coaching services provided by Madrona Pacific Enterprises, LLC (dba Madrona Money) (“we,” “our,” or “Coach”). By purchasing, scheduling, or participating in any coaching services, you (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Coaching Services

Madrona Money provides financial coaching services designed to support you in gaining clarity, confidence, and control over your personal finances—primarily using the YNAB application and methodology. Coaching services may be delivered in one-on-one sessions, packages, or group formats, as described on our website or in direct communications.

Coaching is educational and strategic in nature. It is not a substitute for legal, financial, tax, accounting, or investment advice.

2. Payment & Refund Policy

Payment is due in full prior to the first session unless otherwise agreed in writing. Accepted payment methods and instructions are provided during the checkout or onboarding process.

Coaching packages are non-refundable once sessions have begun. If you are dissatisfied or unable to continue, please reach out so we can discuss options.

3. Session Scheduling & Expiration

Coaching sessions are scheduled at mutually agreed-upon times. You may reschedule with at least 24 hours’ notice. Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be forfeited at our discretion.

Unless otherwise agreed, coaching packages must be used within three (3) months of the first session. Unused sessions may expire after that time.

4. Client Responsibilities

You agree to show up to sessions prepared, engaged, and ready to participate in the coaching process. Your results depend on your commitment and follow-through. While we provide guidance and support, you are responsible for implementing decisions and taking action.

You agree to provide accurate information and to not share access to coaching materials or sessions with others without express permission.

5. Confidentiality

We respect your privacy. All personal and financial information shared in coaching sessions is kept confidential and used solely to support your goals. We will not disclose your information without your consent, unless required by law.

6. Disclaimers

Coaching services are provided for educational and informational purposes only. Nothing shared in a coaching session or via supporting materials should be considered legal, tax, investment, or financial advice.

You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for your financial decisions, and that coaching does not guarantee any specific outcome or result.

7. Technology & Platform Access

Sessions are typically conducted via Zoom or a similar virtual platform. It is your responsibility to ensure you have access to the necessary technology and a stable internet connection.

8. YNAB Account & Third-Party Services

As part of your coaching package, you are eligible to receive an extended free trial or an extension on your existing YNAB account. We will submit your information to YNAB to activate this extension after your payment is received.

You are solely responsible for creating and managing your own YNAB account. Madrona Money is not affiliated with YNAB, and we do not control the YNAB software, website, or customer service. Any issues with YNAB’s platform must be directed to YNAB.

Additionally, any third-party websites, tools, or services recommended or referenced during coaching (including but not limited to budgeting apps, financial institutions, or communication platforms) are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, functionality, or data practices of these third-party services.

9. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
